Journey

The study started as an event named Stupid Eye in June 2012 in Mumbai, India hosted by Psychologist Harsheen Kaur Arora and Photographer Vipul Amar. The event invited people from all walks of life (all age groups, both male and female) to be a part of the process of creating photographs, depicting their real self. The process was again repeated in October 2012 in Delhi, India. Post enrolling for the event by filling a consent form, the participants were divided into two groups:

Group I: participants who would undergo the photo-shoot.

Group II: participants who would assist in the process of the photo-shoot.

The shoots for Mumbai and Delhi with the members' stories being captured beautifully in photographs and through videos made of the entire process have now reached completion. All the stories having been shared, shot and captured in time and ready to be revealed to the world.

About

Psychologist Harsheen K. Arora and Artist Vipul Amar call this project Stupid Eye because they want themselves and everyone else involved - to see each other without the knowledge and information of wrong/right, real/unreal, important/unimportant as taught to us by society in an effort to educate us and hone our intelligence.
